# grindstone support

PrimeEnchants integrates seamlessly with the vanilla **Grindstone**, ensuring that custom enchantments feel like a natural part of the game.

## 💎 Removing Custom Enchants

If you have a custom enchantment on your item that you no longer want, simply place it in a Grindstone.

* **Clean Removal**: All custom enchantments, lore, and hidden metadata are stripped from the item.
* **Experience Refund**: Removing a custom enchantment grants the player experience points, just like vanilla enchantments.
* **Rarity Scaling**: The amount of XP received depends on the **Rarity** and **Level** of the enchantment being removed.

## 🛡️ Interaction with Vanilla

The Grindstone still removes vanilla enchantments as normal. If an item has both vanilla and custom enchantments, both will be removed and you will receive a combined XP reward.
